国度里除了王,另外最重要的就是子民。所以,得着天国的子民是与天国的奥秘息息相关的事了。我们可说,整个无形世界(看不见的天国)的运作都是与上帝继续拯救与成圣祂子民有关系的事。有时看起来,我们读书、上班、养育儿女、甚至是生活中做琐碎的事物是单方面的事,扯不上与传福音的事情有关,但若一个信徒能将他所做的所有的事与他今日寻找、接触、得着神子民的事联结与确认其真实性,他是最认识天国,且是最懂得享用天国之能力的信徒。主耶稣在整个《太13》讲说天国的比喻时,他都在讲说有关“天国的福音被传扬时,天国的子民怎么被得着”的事。当主耶稣在《太16:19》讲到将天国的钥匙赐给彼得,叫他使用来“释放与捆绑”,那是与释放神的子民和捆绑那辖制神子民灵魂的工作有关系的。因为在这处境文讲到教会被建立。教会的建立指的就是神的子民被得着的事。今天,很多人一谈到有关天国的事,就总是讲到恩赐与能力被释放,撒旦的工作被捆绑,然后带来什么财富与健康恢复的事情,但在此根本没有关注神的子民被拯救的事为中心,也没有关注神的福音怎么落实在神子民心中的事情。其实,这是这时代对天国的认识最大的误解,且是最大的歪曲!神的子民被得着是神的国与黑暗之国交战的中心。纵然神的国已经得胜(因为基督已经死而复活,成全救恩,且终必拯救所有属于祂的子民),但黑暗的国是不断的要阻拦这救恩临到神的子民。这就是当基督复活与升天之后在整个属灵世界的两个国最猛烈交战的事情。为这事,圣民当中且有愿意遭遇患难、困苦、急难、逼迫、软弱等、甚至患病与殉道的也有《林后12:7-10》。试问我们怎么能够将这么荣耀的天国想象为多得着地上的成功、顺利、安康等?试问我们又怎么能轻看那为天国的缘故而遭受患难的人呢?其实,对那真认识天国的圣民来说,他们并不将所遭遇的患难当做一种劳苦与失败,他们乃是将此当做荣耀,因为他们确信主的应许说:“如果我们和基督一同受苦,也必和他一同得荣耀”《罗8:17》。所以,主在《太11:12》说:“从施洗约翰的时候到如今,天国是努力进入的,努力的人就得着了”。试问谁是那努力进入天国的呢?这里所说的“努力”,是指“激烈”的意思。这激烈的意思,并不是指进入宗教战争的那种激烈,也不是天天批评反对基督教政权的那种激烈,那乃是“激烈的信心”,像教会历史的蒙恩圣民一样,为着福音的缘故遭受各样的试炼与患难,且以福音的爱来回应世人的敌意,以平安的道回应攻击自己信仰的人,从中显示了基督死而复活的精神。在做这一切里,我们并不是夸耀自己的伟大,乃是因为我们得着了主的心肠,以至以寻找、筛选、得着、联结天国的子民为中心。所以,何谓是真认识天国呢?就是那不再因自己身上所遭遇的难处来唉哼、埋怨或是求解脱。基督已经解脱我们了,且将永生赐给我们,祂也今日与我们同在,一同成就永国的事。唯有当我们将自己所遭遇的不看为偶然,乃将此当做是神使用来寻找、拯救与坚固神子民的途径,我们立时会得见天国的荣耀,得享天国的一切智慧与能力。
Other than the King, people are the most important in the kingdom of heaven. Hence, obtaining the citizens of heaven is closely related to the mystery of the kingdom of heaven. We can say that the operation of the entire formless world (the invisible heaven) is related to God continuing to save and sanctify His people. Sometimes it seems that our studies, work, raising and nurturing of our children, and even trivial things in life seem unilateral and unrelated to evangelism. However, if a believer is able to connect everything he does with seeking, interacting and obtaining God’s people and confirming the realism of it, he is one who truly knows the kingdom of heaven, and also a believer who knows how to enjoy power from above. When the Lord Jesus spoke of the parable of the heavenly kingdom in Matthew 13, He was talking about how "when the gospel of the heavenly kingdom was proclaimed, the citizens of heaven were obtained". When the Lord Jesus spoke of the key to the heavenly kingdom which was given to Peter in <Mt 16:19>, and asked him to use it to "loose and bind", it was related to liberation of God's people from the work which binds the souls of God’s people. It is these verses which talk about the setting up of the church. Establishing the church is about obtaining God’s people. Today, when people talk about the kingdom of heaven, they always talk about how gifts and powers are released, Satan’s work is bound, and how wealth and health are restored. But it is not centred on giving attention to God’s people being saved. Neither is there concern on how God’s gospel is fulfilled in the hearts of God’s people. In fact, this is the greatest misunderstanding and also the greatest distortion in the understanding of heavenly kingdom in this era! Obtaining God's people is at the centre of the battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness. Even though the kingdom of God has triumphed (because Christ resurrected from death, fulfilled salvation, and will eventually save all His people), the kingdom of darkness is constantly preventing this salvation from coming to God's people. This is the fiercest battle in the entire spiritual world between the two kingdoms after Christ's resurrection and ascension. Because of this, among the saints, there are also those who are willing to encounter sufferings, hardships, difficulties, persecutions, weaknesses, and even illnesses and martyrdom <2 Cor. 12:7-10>. How then can we imagine such a glorious heavenly kingdom as merely obtaining greater success, smooth-sailing life, peace and health on this earth? Ask again, how can we belittle those who have suffered for the sake of the heavenly kingdom? Actually, to saints who truly know the kingdom of heaven, they do not regard the sufferings they encounter as a kind of hardship and failure. Instead, they regard them as glorious because they truly believe the Lord’s promise, “If indeed we share in His sufferings in order that we may also share in His glory” <Ro 8:17>. Therefore, the Lord said in <Mt 11:12>, “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it”. Who are those who violently enter the kingdom of heaven? “Violent” here has same meaning as “fierce / intense”. “Fierce / intense” does not refer to the violence of entering a religious battle or criticizing those who oppose the authority of Christianity daily. But it refers to a “fierce / intense faith”, like blessed saints in the Church’s history, who suffered various kinds of trials, hardships for the sake of the gospel. They used the gospel of love to respond to the hostility of people of this world; word of peace to respond to those who opposed their faith. In doing so, they demonstrated the spirit of Christ’s death and resurrection. In doing all this, we are not boasting about our greatness, but we have received the heart of the Lord, and hence we centre on seeking, sifting, obtaining and connecting with people of the kingdom of heaven. So, what is truly understanding the kingdom of heaven? It is not to lament and complain because of difficulties, or seek relief from the difficulties we encounter. Christ has already set us free, and given us eternal life. He is also with us today to accomplish the things of the eternal kingdom. It is only when we do not see what we encounter as coincidence, but a process which God uses to find, save, and strengthen God's people, then we will immediately see the glory of the heavenly kingdom and enjoy all the wisdom and power from above.
