当我们信了主之后,这天国的君王是在我们生命里做王,祂的国度是在我们心里建立起来了。但我们为什么这么容易看不见那时常与我们同在的天国,且常常用不到那从天而来的美善力量呢?有的信徒总是认为是自己信心不够,不然就是没有特别祷告的能力或一些属灵的恩赐,所以生活当中常常活在惧怕、无助、或缺乏的光景。确实,很多人在这种对属灵奥秘一知半解的认为里面追求那无形世界而来的能力,结果导致他对天国的奥秘更加的误解,且在灵里面受到更多的干扰,以致无法过着正常与有效力的生活。当我们主耶稣说到有关属灵世界的事情时(特别是有关天国降临的事),祂说:我若靠着神的灵赶鬼,这就是神的国临到你们了《太12:28》。在这里,主耶稣很明显说到【鬼的工作被赶逐】与【天国降临】的连贯性。原来,各样美善的恩赐与全备的赏赐是时常从众光之父降在我们身上《雅1:17》。例如:夫妇生活应该幸福美满,成为多人的祝福;我们做父母的与儿女的关系应该亲密,以至他们也成为我们的力量(好像勇士手中的剑);我们办公中应当得老板的赏识与同事的喜悦(如同法老王喜悦约瑟,或尼布甲尼撒王赏识但以理与他三个朋友);我们身上有了什么病,也应该很快要复原,要不然就是像保罗一样,经历神更多的恩典来服侍主。这是为什么呢?因为从上头众光之父那里常将各样的恩惠与智慧赐给我们。但是,当这些证据没在我们身上发生,那是跟鬼的工作有关系。鬼的工作是一种蒙蔽人心灵的工作,使人看不见光(神的同在与作为)。另外,那也是一种势力,能阻挡一些实际的祝福临到我们身上,如同壮士不让我们抢夺家中的家财《太12:29》。但虽是如此,在这点上我们也不能单说是鬼的工作,因为鬼是看不见的,人因此会很容易误解,然后将自己所处负面和软弱的光景都归咎与鬼的工作。所以,在讲到鬼的工作,我们一定同时要讲到 【心的问题】。鬼的工作是透过人心显露出来。所以主耶稣说:从(人)里面,就是从人心里发出恶念、苟合、偷盗、凶杀、奸淫、贪婪、邪恶、诡诈、淫荡、嫉妒、谤讟、骄傲、狂妄,这一切的恶都是从里面出来,且能污秽人《可7:21-23》。这里所说【人的心】究竟在哪里呢?简单来说,那是人灵魂的最深之处,且从那里发出一切恶念。那就好像一个根源,继续源源不断的带出根源里面的东西。那也好像一个井继续有水,那不是因为井本身能涌出水,乃是在地底下的深处中有无穷的水量,源源不断的涌出来。所以,人的心就好像一个邪恶的根源,不断发出恶念,所以人的恶念不会结束。昨天犯罪而感到内疚了,今天又会去犯罪,昨天重伤人了,今天在另一个场合又陷害人。有罪的人绝不会因犯罪而感到累,或因犯罪彻底腻了而不想再犯罪。一旦他身体有力了,就会走犯罪的路。所以,鬼的工作是与有罪的人的心在一起的。这两者都是福音对付的问题。当福音的大能临到,鬼被赶出去,人的心重生、变化、降服于基督,那也就是天国临到的时刻了。所以,我们从今天的信息要认识两个属灵的奥秘。第一,我们要认出那叫天国时常被隐藏的鬼的工作,特别是我们的心怎么时常被这样的工作影响。另外,我们要怎么叫这样邪恶的工作消散,以至我们时常能够经历从那上头而来的恩惠与赏赐。
After we have believed in the Lord, this King from the heavenly kingdom becomes the King of our lives. His kingdom is being set up in our hearts. But why is it not easy to see this heavenly kingdom that is often with us, and always use this good and perfect power from above? Some believers always attribute this to their lack of faith. If not, it is because they think they do not have the special power to pray or some spiritual gifts. Hence, their lives are often filled with fear, helplessness or lack. Truly, many people who have a superficial knowledge of such spiritual mystery continue to pursue the power from this unseen world, resulting in them having a deeper misunderstanding of this mystery of heavenly kingdom, and also have greater disturbances in their spirits, such that they cannot lead normal and effective lives. When our Lord Jesus talked about things relating to the spiritual world (in particular, about the coming of this heavenly kingdom), He said, “If it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.“ <Mt 12:28> Here, Lord Jesus clearly talks about the correlation between “driving out demons” and the “coming of the heavenly kingdom”. Actually, every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of heavenly lights <Jas 1:17>. Example: Spousal living should be blissful and become a blessing to many. As parents, the relationship with our children should be close so that we become their strength (just like the swords held by brave soldiers); at work, we should receive the favour of our bosses and be a joy to our colleagues (like how the Pharaoh delighted in Joseph, or how King Nebuchadnezzar favoured Daniel and his three friends); if we have certain illnesses, we ought to be healed and recover quickly. If not, we should be like Paul, who experienced even more grace from God to serve the Lord. Why is this so? This is because coming down from the Father of heavenly lights are all good and perfect gifts which are given to us. However, if such evidences do not happen in our lives, it is related to the work of the demons. The work of the demons is to blind the hearts and spirits of Man such that Man cannot see the Light (God’s presence and work). That is also a power by itself, which can practically prevent blessings from coming down to us, just like how the strong man does not allow us to carry off the possessions in his house <Mt 12:29>. Even though this is so, we also cannot say that this is solely the work of the demons, because demons are unseen. Hence, it is very easy for people to misunderstand and to attribute the negative state or weaknesses they are currently in, to the work of demons. Therefore, when we talk about the work of demons, at the same time we must also talk about the “problem of our heart”. The work of demons is revealed through the heart of Man. Thus, Lord Jesus said, “For it is from within (Man), out of a person's heart, that evil thoughts come---sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and defile a person” <Mk 7:21-23>. Where is this “person’s heart” that we are talking about? Simply put, this is the innermost part of a person’s soul and it is where all sorts of evil come from. This is like a source, which continues to bring out things from within. It is also like a well always filled with water. It is not because the well by itself has water but deep in the ground, there is an unlimited supply of water from its source which supplies water to the well continuously. The human heart is like a source of evil, constantly producing evil thoughts. Therefore, the evil thoughts of people will never end. They may have sinned yesterday and felt guilty but will continue to sin again today; they may have hurt someone yesterday, and in another occasion today, victimize another person. A sinful person will never feel tired of sinning nor stop sinning because he is thoroughly sick of sinning. Once a person’s body is strengthened, he will continue to walk the path of sin. Therefore, the work of demons is together with the sinful heart of Man. These are the two problems which the gospel aims to tackle. When the great power of gospel comes, demons are cast out, a person’s heart is born again, transformed and he surrenders to Christ. This is the moment when the heavenly kingdom comes. Therefore, we want to learn two spiritual mysteries from today’s message. First, we want to learn the work of demons that often causes the kingdom of heaven to be hidden, in particular, how our hearts are being influenced by such works. Also, how we can cause such works to be eliminated such that we can often experience the good and perfect grace and gifts from above.
