世界天天向我们发出这么多的资讯与情报，有的人听得太少（无知），有的人听得太多（混乱），有的人没有听清楚（糊涂）。其实【听见】，是多么重要的一件事情。因为我们所听见的就会留在我们的潜意识里，之后就会潜移默化地左右我们的想法，影响我们的心灵。《箴1:5》使智慧人听见增长学问...《箴2:2》侧耳听智慧，专心求聪明...《雅1:19》告诉我们要快快地听，慢慢地说，慢慢地动怒…。圣经告诉我们人的智慧是从他怎么听与听了什么而来。我们人都是从所听见的而做出反应。有些人总是听错，有如没听清楚，或是过分的听一些随口说的话或是无关紧要的情报，所以作出不对的反应。有的人听了一大堆情报，而他越听越没有判断力，也浪费很多的时间与关注在次要的事。这些人都没有因听见的而增长智慧，反而他们因听见的而更加愚昧。确实，现今世界的一个最大的危险就是情报太多、人的话太快。所以当主耶稣在《太24:6》说：你们也要听见打仗和打仗的风声，总不要惊慌… 或是你们听见有人说：“我是基督…基督在这里…基督在那里”,总不要被迷惑。有些人说：“现在不听也不能，因为每分钟都有资讯与情报进到我们的手机”。那既然这是一个实况，你一定要求主让你听见正确的情报。能听见正确的情报的人是有福的！何谓听见正确的情报呢？第一就是我们被神保守不听见那对我们没有益处，且没有相关的情报或是一些恶言恶语。试想谁能不听见这样的情报与言语呢？那就是心里清洁的人。《太5:8》告诉我们清心的人会得见神。《诗24:3-4》也告诉我们手洁心清的人能登耶和华的山，站在祂的圣所。心里清洁的人就算是听到人的谗言也是受保护，不会从谗言里领受恶念。若是心不清洁的人就是听见什么的话都是会将它歪曲，因此他天天从世界领受的情报反倒叫他产生更多的惧怕与不安，结果处事待人越发自我为中心。另外，我们怎么听见正确的情报呢？那就是得着智慧的心而有选择的领受情报。这有如我们活在一个资讯与情报通顺的时代，我们可能在一件事情上（例如：健康报导、贸易报导、科技报导或是一些社会舆论）会听见十个不同的见解与说法，但我们不能将所有的报导都盲目的领受。我们所听和我们所领受的是一个很重要的连接。可能听了十个报导之后，我们需要受智慧的心指教，以至我们能区分与接受一两个比较正确与客观的报导。这样一来，我们才不会越听越混乱。在这点上，我们会看见在旧约的君王历史里，王旁边臣仆与谋士所给的情报非常的重要。王选择听谁的情报更是重要。这如同所罗门的儿子罗波安不听他父亲的忠仆给的见解，反倒听那些与他长大的年轻谋士的话，最后带来的就是以色列的分裂。因此，我们在这点上真是要求主给我们清洁与智慧的心。要不然我们在这资讯与情报泛滥的时代真是无形的被影响也没有察觉，以致我们因此天天在浪费很多的时间与情绪。让我们在这点上要做智慧人，要懂得爱惜光阴，也要多明白主的旨意。《弗5:15-17》

The world sends us much information and news every day. Some people hear too little (ignorant), some people hear too much (confused), and some people do not hear clearly (lost). In fact, “hearing” is such an important thing. Because what we hear will remain in our subconscious mind, which will then subtly influence our thoughts, our hearts and spirits. <Prov 1:5> “Let the wise listen and add to their learning” <Prov 2:2> “turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding”… <Jas 1:19> tells us that “everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry...”  The Bible tells us that human wisdom comes from how a person hears and what he hears. We all react to what we hear. Some people always misunderstand, as if they did not hear clearly, or they read too much into the casual words or insignificant information they hear, such that they make a wrong response. Some people hear a lot of things but the more they listen, the less discernment they have. They also waste a lot of time paying attention to secondary matters. None of these people grow their wisdom from hearing. On the contrary, they become more foolish because of what they heard. Indeed, one of the greatest risks in today's world is that there are too much news and people's words are too fast. So when the Lord Jesus said in <Mt 24:6>, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed... or if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Messiah!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it.” Some people say, "It is impossible not to hear nowadays because information and news come to us through our handphones every minute." Since this is a reality, may the Lord let us hear the right things. Blessed are those who can hear the right things! What is hearing the right things? The first is that we are protected by God not to hear things that are not beneficial to us, or things that are not relevant or some evil words or speech. Think about it, who are those who do not hear such things, words and speech? That is the person who is pure in heart. <Mt 5:8> tells us, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.”  <Ps 24:3-4> also tells us that the one who has clean hands and a pure heart may ascend the mountain of the Lord and stand in His holy place. Those who are pure in heart are protected even if they hear people's rumors, and they will not receive evil thoughts from rumors. If someone is not pure in heart, whatever he hears will be distorted. Therefore, the things he receives from the world daily gives him more fear and unrest. As a result, he is more and more self-centered in managing matters and people. In addition, how do we hear the right things? We can do so by having the wisdom to select the type of things we receive. This is like living in an era with easy access to information and news, we may hear ten different opinions and methods on one matter (for example, health reports, trade reports, scientific reports or some public opinion), but we cannot blindly receive all the reports. There is a very important connection to what we hear and what we receive. After listening to ten reports, we need to be guided by wisdom, so that we can distinguish and accept one or two more correct and objective reports. In this way, we will not end up being more confused as we hear more. Regarding this point, we will see that in the history of the kings in the Old Testament, the information given by the officials and advisers of the king was very important. It is more important for the king to decide who he wants to listen to. This is like Solomon's son, Rehoboam, who did not listen to the advice of his father's loyal servants. Instead, he listened to the words of the young advisers whom he grew up with, which eventually brought about the division of Israel. Therefore, regarding this point, we must really ask the Lord to give us a pure and wise heart. Otherwise, we will be unknowingly affected and influenced in this era flooded with information and news, such that we waste a lot of time and emotions daily. Let us be wise regarding this point, and know how to make the most of every opportunity and understand what the Lord's will is <Ep 5:15-17>.
