Forgive, and ask for Forgiveness <Lk 17:3-4; Col 3:12-14; Eph 4:30-32; Jas 5:16; Num 5:6-8; Mt 5:23-24; Phm 17-19>

1. Forgive
1) It is a command
2) Forgive totally
3) The meek shall inherit the earth, out of this heart comes forgiveness
4) The reasons for not forgiving: envy, pride, bondage
5) Forgiveness gives people opportunities to repent

2. Ask for Forgiveness
1) Taking trespasses lightly offends another
    Confession should not be taken lightly
2) Learn restitution
3) Sometimes, initiative is needed to resolve the tension
4) Obstacles to a clear conscience
5) How to practically rebuild trust?

1) Dealing with our sinful nature at its root
2) The world increasingly upholds vengeance
3) Be eager to become “a blessing”
