The World harbors spiritual enmity against us <Jn 15:18-27>

1. <Jn 15:9>

1) True Christians will surely be hated by the World.

2) Though Christians suffered hatred, they are filled with love.

3) Yet for those who compromised with the World, they couldn't love one another.

2. Recognize our belonging and election when being persecuted. <v19>

3. Those who persecute you or obey your teaching will be revealed. <v20>

4. The religious leaders who persecute the Lord Jesus will today persecute you also. <v21>

5. Those who heard the Lord’s word and saw His miracles are more culpable. <v22>

6. There is no sin greater than hating the benevolent Father God. <v23-24>

7. The World hates the Lord and us without reason. <v25>

1) The Holy Spirit will surely protect the faith of believers.
