The Fruit of Marriage - Children <Ge 25:24-28, 26:34, 27:1-4,38; Pro 22:6>

Introduction:

§ The Promise of "Being fruitful and multiply” carries different meaning before and after the fall.

§ After knowing the purpose of nurturing children, observe carefully the work of God upon our children.

§ Through relying on the Lord, earnestly put in real effort in teaching the child.

1. Though our kids may be different, the real issue is when we parents nurture them without remembering the promises of God.

2. When a child grows up and develops independent thinking, he poses a great challenge to parents.

1) A child needs to be taught right from young

2) Do not just teach about Christian ritual, but the living God.

3) Teach everything centering upon God.

4) See everything that happens to our child as God’s fulfilment of His promise.

3. When we really know about God’s promise upon our children, then we will receive refinement in the nurturing of our children.
