The Lord Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalene. <Jn 20:11-18>

* Introduction: The message brought across through the Lord’s appearance to Mary Magdalene.

1) Though Woman sinned first, the Lord’s grace also came upon Woman first.

2) The Lord draws close to us in our pain.

3) The Lord not only comforts, but also sends those being comforted to evangelize.

1. <Jn 20:11-12> Two angels sat on two ends of where Jesus’ body was laid, like how two Cherubim rested on the two ends of the mercy seat.

4. <Jn 20:15> Those who seek the Lord will be found by Him.

1) Imperative to hold on to Jesus through “faith”.

2) The Lord must ascend and will eventually not be seen by the naked eye.

3) The disciples are now called Jesus’ brothers.

4) My Father and your Father, my God and your God.
