Saul Received the Ministering of Ananias
Introduction:
* Saul would become an apostle greatly used by God in future.
* But God used an insignificant disciple, Ananias, to lay hands to pray for him, baptise him and feed him.
* Why did God use Ananias?
1)God does not use great men to accomplish great things.
2)God valued Ananias’ life of obedience to the Lord.
Read <Ac 9:10-19>
1. <v10> Why did God appear to Saul in Damascus?
* Because in Damascus, there was a disciple named Ananias.
* Ananias not only laid hands to pray for Saul, but he was also the person who brought Saul into church brethren relationship.

1)God gave Ananias very detailed instructions about what he was to do.

* In very challenging matters, God will give us detailed instructions.
2)Furthermore, Saul was also praying. What would he be probably praying about?
(1)Kept repenting (and being contrite) for his sins
(2)Sought to understand how the Lord wanted him to submit next
(3)Praised God for having received His mercy
* Here, he also saw in a vision that Ananias would lay hands on him.

5)Gave him food (satisfied his physical need)
6)Brought him into church living (joined a new relationship)
