当人犯罪堕落之后，他马上陷入一个有罪的环境，他罪恶的性情也使他不断的受这个环境塑造。所以从那时起，人从一个“受神的话影响”转为“受环境影响”的属灵光景。人原来是应该从神的话成为一个不动摇的人来影响天天变动的环境，但现在天天受到那个变动的环境动摇，也很容易因环境怎样，对神的信心就怎样。确实，人最容易察觉的一个事实就是“环境使他改变”。比如：如果我们一天的生活很忙碌，工作量很多，我们很快就会看见自己的脾气在那天变得很暴躁。如果这样的日子长久了，人的心就变得很冷漠，说话行事很冷酷。如果我们长大的环境是很恶劣的，我们自然会被那恶劣环境塑造。若我们常被人数落，就会变得自卑，且没有自信。若我们常被人肯定，自然就成为有自信的。有的人长大的环境很艰辛，自己就成为了自力更生的人，但可能也会成为一个不容易信任别人或依靠他人的人。往往，影响我们最厉害的环境就是我们所爱的，且是与我们相处的人。所以，我们的家人是自动成为我们的环境，我们也成为他们的环境。有些人说自己的婚姻里没有幸福，所以使他成为更糟糕的人，但也有人也会看见自己的婚姻使他幸福美满，且叫他成为一个更有长进的人。有的人也怨声载道说自己没有环境给他的塑造，所以不能发挥自己身上的潜能。其实，因为环境的影响和塑造是太真实了，而人也无法摆脱他的环境，所以人按着自己的喜悦作出两种选择。第一就是他选择改换环境。特别是当人不喜悦自己的环境时，他总是选择逃避或改换环境。例如：换工作，换朋友，换教会，换公民权等，都是人常做的事情。我们也不能说这做法不对，但人生总是有一些环境是我们不能改换的，例如：我们的父母、婚姻等。并且，我们也不能一生成为一种逃避环境的人。另外第二个做法就是尝试改变环境。所以，现代很多积极方面与正能量的教导都在要帮助人改观，以至提升人自己里头所谓的能量（改变看人的眼光，改变做工的心态等），以此来改变环境，改变周围的人。所以，简单来说，人总是一直要塑造一个良好或是理想的环境给自己。但他们不能肯定那是否是最好的方法。有的人一生就是改换环境，换了一个又一个，只要自己感觉好就好。有的人靠自己的积极心态脱引而出，所以就提倡一些能塑造自己命运的方法。其实，在这两者里，人都没有在自己的环境里看见神。圣经告诉我们当如何认识那在我们环境里的上帝。首先，祂是以马内利（与我们同在）的上帝。为何祂给自己取名为以马内利呢？因为人在他的罪中完全失去对神的认识和知觉。当我们的环境很恶劣时，我们一直会说：“神在哪里？”或者有些人会说：“如果神是存在的，就不会许可这样糟糕的环境！”。很显然的，有罪的人都以自己的环境来断定他们对神的认识。其实，当我们接受这个意念时，我们是马上被环境辖制了。因为再恶劣的环境也会过去，但如果我们没有上帝，我们绝对不能胜过一个又一个的环境，也不能得着那环境里的益处。另外，圣经又告诉我们神是那在凡事加给我们力量的上帝。为何神这么说呢？因为神知道这地上的环境是非常的残酷的。这空中掌权的环境里有那恶者所带来的凶恶与试探。他要用恶劣的环境压迫我们，试探我们犯罪，甚至是摧毁我们的信心。特别，当人的死亡、战争、病痛、毒辣、彼此伤害和种种不公正的事情临到时，上帝在那恶者邪恶的作为中要加给我们力量。当现今世代越来越邪恶，我们要掌握如何依靠这个力量来成就更伟大的事。如此一来，我们才能在各种环境中成就神的旨意，成为一个得胜有余的基督徒。

When mankind has fallen in sin, he is immediately thrust into an environment with sin. His sinful nature will also be continuously shaped by this environment. From then on, humans shifted from “being influenced by Word of God” into a state of “being influenced by environment”. Originally, man should receive the Word of God to become an unwavering person to influence the ever-changing environment, but now he is being affected by the ever-changing environment daily. Very easily, the faith in God is dependent on the things that happened in the environment. Actually, a simple truth that humans can sense is that “environment will shape us”. For example, if we are busy with heavy workload in a day, we will see that we will become quick-tempered. If this lasts for a long time, a person’s heart, words and actions will become cold. If we grow up in a harsh environment, we will naturally be shaped by the harsh environment. If we are often mocked by others, we will lose self-esteem and confidence. If we are often approved by others, we will naturally have confidence. Some people grow up in harsh environment, and they become self-reliant. They do not easily trust or depend on others. Often, the environment that affects us the most is the one that is made up of the people we love and live with. Therefore, our family naturally becomes our environment and we constitute their environment. Some people say they have no bliss in their marriage, such that they become a worse person. Others will see that their marriage gives them bliss and motivates them to improve. Some people will also grumble that they do not have proper enivronment to shape them, so they cannot realise their potential. Actually, the influence of the environment is too real, and no one can escape his environment, so a person will make one of two decisions as he pleases. First, he will choose to change his environment. Especially, when a person is in an environment he is not happy with, he will always choose to escape or change the environment. For example, change jobs, friends, church, citizenship. These are common things. We cannot say that these are wrong. However, there are some environment we cannot change, like our parents, marriage, etc. Furthermore, we cannot be someone who is always running away from circumstances. The second way is to attempt to change the circumstances. Therefore, in recent times, there are many positive thinking and positive energy teachings to help people change their perspectives so that they can increase the energy within themselves (change how they view others, change their attitude towards work, etc), in order to change the environment and people around them. Therefore, simply said, humans are always trying to create a better and ideal environment for themselves. But they cannot confirm if that is the best way. Some people keep changing their environments for their whole life, so that they can feel better. Some become outstanding because of their positive attitude, so they promote certain methods to shape one’s destiny. Actually, in both cases, these people have not seen God in their circumstances. The Bible tells us how we should know the God in our circumstances. Firstly, He is Immanuel (God is with us). Why did He give Himself the name Immanuel?  Because humans in their sin have completely lost the sense and understanding of God. When we feel our circumstances are bad, we will say, “Where is God?” Or some will say, “If God exists, there won’t be such terrible circumstances!” Evidently, all sinful persons will determine their understanding of God based on their circumstances. Actually, when we accept this thought, we are immediately bound by our circumstances. Because terrible circumstances will pass, but if we do not have God, we cannot overcome one circumstance after another, and will not benefit from them. Also, the Bible tells us that our God is a God who can give us strength in all things. Why does God say this? Because God knows that the circumstances in the world can be very cruel. In the environment under the ruler of the kingdom of the air, there is the evil one who brings evil and temptations. He oppresses us with terrible circumstances, tempts us to sin and even destroys our faith. Especially, when death, wars, illnesses, ruthlessness, mutual harm and all kinds of unrighteous things come upon us, God wants to give us strength in the midst of the work of the evil one. As the days get more evil, we must grasp how to rely on this strength to accomplish greater things. Only then, can we do the will of God in all circumstances and be a Christian who is more than conquerors.
