28:1
|
以撒叫了雅各来，给他祝福，并嘱咐他说：「你不要娶迦南的女子为妻。
|
|
|
And Isaac called Jacob, and blessed him, and charged him, and said unto him, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
|
|
28:2
|
你起身往巴但亚兰去，到你外祖彼土利家里，在你母舅拉班的女儿中娶一女为妻。
|
|
|
Arise, go to Paddan-aram, to the house of Bethuel thy mother`s father. And take thee a wife from thence of the daughters of Laban thy mother`s brother.
|
|
28:3
|
愿全能的神赐福给你，使你生养众多，成为多族，
|
|
|
And God Almighty bless thee, and make thee fruitful, and multiply thee, that thou mayest be a company of peoples.
|
|
28:4
|
将应许亚伯拉罕的福赐给你和你的后裔，使你承受你所寄居的地为业，就是神赐给亚伯拉罕的地。」
|
|
|
And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee. That thou mayest inherit the land of thy sojournings, which God gave unto Abraham.
|
|
28:5
|
以撒打发雅各走了，他就往巴但亚兰去，到亚兰人彼土利的儿子拉班那里。拉班是雅各、以扫的母舅。
|
|
|
And Isaac sent away Jacob. And he went to Paddan-aram unto Laban, son of Bethuel the Syrian, the brother of Rebekah, Jacob`s and Esau`s mother.
|
|
28:6
|
以扫见以撒已经给雅各祝福，而且打发他往巴但亚兰去，在那里娶妻，并见祝福的时候嘱咐他说：「不要娶迦南的女子为妻」，
|
|
|
Now Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him away to Paddan-aram, to take him a wife from thence. And that as he blessed him he gave him a charge, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife of the daughters of Canaan.
|
|
28:7
|
又见雅各听从父母的话往巴但亚兰去了，
|
|
|
And that Jacob obeyed his father and his mother, and was gone to Paddan-aram.
|
|
28:8
|
以扫就晓得他父亲以撒看不中迦南的女子，
|
|
|
And Esau saw that the daughters of Canaan pleased not Isaac his father.
|
|
28:9
|
便往以实玛利那里去，在他二妻之外又娶了玛哈拉为妻。他是亚伯拉罕儿子以实玛利的女儿，尼拜约的妹子。
|
|
|
And Esau went unto Ishmael, and took, besides the wives that he had, Mahalath the daughter of Ishmael Abraham`s son, the sister of Nebaioth, to be his wife.
|
|
28:10
|
雅各出了别是巴，向哈兰走去；
|
|
|
And Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran.
|
|
28:11
|
到了一个地方，因为太阳落了，就在那里住宿，便拾起那地方的一块石头枕在头下，在那里躺卧睡了，
|
|
|
And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set. And he took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep.
|
|
28:12
|
梦见一个梯子立在地上，梯子的头顶着天，有神的使者在梯子上，上去下来。
|
|
|
And he dreamed. And behold, a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God ascending and descending on it.
|
|
28:13
|
耶和华站在梯子以上（或作：站在他旁边），说：「我是耶和华你祖亚伯拉罕的神，也是以撒的神；我要将你现在所躺卧之地赐给你和你的后裔。
|
|
|
And, behold, Jehovah stood above it, and said, I am Jehovah, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.
|
|
28:14
|
你的后裔必像地上的尘沙那样多，必向东西南北开展；地上万族必因你和你的后裔得福。
|
|
|
And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south. And in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
|
|
28:15
|
我也与你同在。你无论往那里去，我必保佑你，领你归回这地，总不离弃你，直到我成全了向你所应许的。」
|
|
|
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee, whithersoever thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land. For I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
|
|
28:16
|
雅各睡醒了，说：「耶和华真在这里，我竟不知道！」
|
|
|
And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely Jehovah is in this place. And I knew it not.
|
|
28:17
|
就惧怕，说：「这地方何等可畏！这不是别的，乃是神的殿，也是天的门。」
|
|
|
And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
|
|
28:18
|
雅各清早起来，把所枕的石头立作柱子，浇油在上面。
|
|
|
And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put under his head, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it.
|
|
28:19
|
他就给那地方起名叫伯特利（就是神殿的意思）；但那地方起先名叫路斯。
|
|
|
And he called the name of that place Beth-el. But the name of the city was Luz at the first.
|
|
28:20
|
雅各许愿说：「神若与我同在，在我所行的路上保佑我，又给我食物吃，衣服穿，
|
|
|
And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,
|
|
28:21
|
使我平平安安的回到我父亲的家，我就必以耶和华为我的神。
|
|
|
so that I come again to my father`s house in peace, and Jehovah will be my God,
|
|
28:22
|
我所立为柱子的石头也必作神的殿；凡你所赐给我的，我必将十分之一献给你。」
|
|
|
then this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God`s house. And of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.
