There are two types of spirits at work in the world. One type is the condemned spirit, another is the free spirit. In church, there are also two types of spirits at work, one is the spirit of a slave, another is the spirit of a son. Actually, whether a person’s outward appearance is dignified or humble, rich or poor, glorious or ordinary is not important. The important thing is what kind of spirit is at work in his spiritual background. If a person’s spirit is always accused by the condemned spirit, and led by man’s carnal spirit, he is living in bondages, and all that he possesses: knowledge, qualifications, reputation, status, wealth, will all become his bondages. But, if the spirit of a free son is at work in a person’s spirit, his thoughts, judgment, perspectives, living are indirectly manipulating all the happenings around him. Because his heart and mind and every move works in direct connection with the conviction of the Holy Spirit, so the invisible angels keep working through his judgment and actions. This is the secret behind how Joseph could be blessed wherever he went. This is the secret of how Daniel became the ruler after he was made captive in Babylon. This is also the secret how David became the king from a shepherd boy. Their similarities lie in not focusing on man’s conditions, situations, success and failure and even those who persecuted them. They only focused on the freedom in the spirit and the communication with God, and acted on what God has guided them in all things. So, ‘things will surely become right’, inheritance (blessings) that belong the children will be given to the children. In fact, God has set us free in Christ, enabling us to restore the identity of children of God. This is so that we can rely on the free spirit of children of God to receive the inheritance of children on earth. Therefore, what the children cannot afford to lose most is not the job, status or love, etc, but the heart of freedom of children of God. If the children lead a faith living because they are scared of (worried about) not receiving blessings, they will not see the things they do bear fruits. The children must lead faith living because they love Father God, and act because they are willing to obey the Father. Only then can they experience the grace and love of the Holy Spirit wherever they go. These things mentioned above are the spiritual mysteries that Paul meant in the scriptures today. They speak of the principles of how ‘God created all things for the free woman’. This is what believers should understand in their hearts today, and practically experience the spiritual mystery in all things in their living.
