Holy Spirit dwells within us and loves us quietly, but He is also the Lord who searches our hearts and thoughts. He does not wish that we remain in accusations because of our powerlessness to overcome sin. However, He also wants us to turn from our weak and corrupted lives through the great power of His love. So how can we receive power to reform? The answer lies in ‘repentance’. The truth is, Father God does not want us to become a person who repents at every move. He also does not wish that we become someone who repents ritually. He all the more does not want us to become a person who does not repent. In repenting to God, we must first know that ‘the Holy Spirit is living’, we cannot deceive Him (just as it is said in the Ten Commandments: you shall not misuse the name of the Lord). To be clearer, we must know when to repent, what to repent about, and how to walk with God after repenting. This is complete repentance, which gives strength to man and makes man bear fruits. In fact, if a person does not know the great power of repentance, his spiritual life cannot grow, his love with God cannot deepen, and he also cannot fathom the grace and mercy in the gospel of Christ. Today, the problem of believers is not that they are weak and commit sin. Think about it: Who is not weak? Who is blameless in his heart and mind (or hidden acts)? Which believer has not experienced having the desire to do good but not having the ability to carry it out? We also know that there is no longer condemnation in Christ, but why are our spirits constantly being accused, and why do the temptations and lust for sin in our hearts not reduce? That is because we do not know how to repent. God is already with us with His eternal love and infinite grace. However, the areas in which we are constantly being accused are a spiritual bottleneck, causing us to be unable to receive the Lord’s love boldly, unable to shake off the many corrupted and carnal insinuations, and causing practical situations that tempt and affect us to often come to us. Under these, our time is constantly wasted, our lives cannot progress in the highway and enjoy the best blessings in Christ. We must hear the voice of Holy Spirit! Repent today and shake off the sin that easily binds, and race in the road set before us.
