在基督里的圣徒都同有一个命运,就是:① 行事为人与基督福音相称,以此才能喜乐;② 在地上为福音的缘故受苦,以此得见荣耀。当一个信徒在生命里有这两者的证据时,这足以证明他在灵里已永远得救了,也正在享受救恩所带来的能力。今天,很多信徒总活在对自己的生命毫无确据的状态里,也因自己目前所处于的患难苦难感到忧伤。他们常寻找解脱,求人为他们代祷,甚至也捉着圣经种种的应许,斥责问题,宣告祝福,但总是没有回到自己在基督里已经是蒙恩、蒙爱、蒙福、蒙召的精神。他们无法在自己的现状看见自己所遭遇的都是为着福音的兴旺,以此回复心中的荣耀。相反的,他们心里还是带着很多的疑惑,在自己所遭遇的患难中无法拥有得胜的确据。当然,我们拒绝仇敌的毁谤与攻击是需要的,因为我们不需无辜受苦,乃要拒绝仇敌的工作。但最有效的抵挡仇敌是回复:① 我在基督里已经蒙恩;然后 ② 认定所遭遇的是更叫福音兴旺;因此 ③ 无论生死祸福都看见神的同在;以至 ④ 现在行在主向我显明的旨意。以上面对患难的心灵就是最美好的得胜了。实际上,我们不需过度的专注问题来祈祷或宣告什么,只要确确实实的回复神的应许,现在行在主的道中,马上就会看见圣灵在我们心中的帮助,足以享受得胜有余。事实上,这不是给予比较成熟的信徒的教导,乃是所有信徒都当要认识而追求的,因为这样的心灵不是我们本有的体质拥有的,乃是重生之后的新人经过敬虔操练才能形成的。现今教会许多教导已经将福音的本质与精义削弱了,只有以“问题得着解决”来明白神的话,不是以“在福音里行事为人”来享受主所赐的一切祝福。今天,我们看见在监狱里的保罗嘱咐腓立比信徒在此当有一样的心志,站立的稳,为所信的福音齐心努力。这当中可能会有许多仇敌的毁谤与耻笑,但保罗更进一步的肯定在受难的信徒,让他们明白信徒所得着的恩典不但是信服基督,更是与主一同受苦。因为主是第一个受苦的(他的受苦是因祂子民的罪与这世界的弊害带来的),所以凡跟从祂的都当怀着一样的心态。
The saints in Christ have a common destiny: ① Rejoice because of conducting ourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ; ② Suffer for the sake of gospel on earth, and receive glory through it. When a believer has these 2 evidences in his life, it has sufficiently proven that his spirit has been eternally saved, and indeed he is enjoying the strength from this salvation grace. Today, many believers often live in a state of lacking assurance in life, and upset by the situations or sufferings they are facing. They often look for liberation, ask others to intercede for them, or even holding onto the various promises in the bible, rebuke the problems and proclaim blessings, yet they have never returned to the spirit of I have received grace, greatly loved, greatly blessed, and greatly called in Christ. In their own situations, they are unable to see that the encounters they have serve to advance the gospel and thus restore the glory in their hearts. Instead, they carry much doubt in their hearts and are unable to have the assurance of victory in the trials they face. Certainly, it is necessary for us to reject the enemy’s accusations because we should not suffer in vain; rather, we need to reject the work of the enemy. But the most efficient defense is to restore: ① In Christ I have received grace; then ② firmly believe that all encounters serve to advance the gospel; therefore ③ able to see God’s presence in life or death, disaster or blessings; so much so that ④ I am walking in the will that is revealed by God now. The spirit in trials mentioned above is the most wonderful victory. Actually, we needn’t overtly focus on the problems and pray, or attempt to proclaim something, we only need to steadily restore the promise of God, and live in His word now, and we will see the help of the Holy Spirit in our hearts immediately and enjoy being more than conquerors. In fact, this is not a teaching meant for the mature believers, instead all believers ought to pursue this. Such a spirit is not from our intrinsic nature but being shaped in a new person after born again, which experiences the training of godliness. The modern churches have diluted the original nature and essence of the gospel today, they understand the word of God through “solving problems” rather than “conducting themselves in gospel” to enjoy all blessings given by the Lord. Today, we see how Paul, in prison, instructed the Philippians to stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel. During the process, the enemies may malign and ridicule them, but Paul went a step further to affirm the believers who are suffering so that they too will understand that the grace they have received. It not only allows them to believe in Christ, but also to suffer with Him. As our Lord was the first to suffer (His suffered because of the sins of His people and the evils of the world), therefore all who follow Him should embrace the same mentality.
