For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17 NIV) While we wait upon the second coming of our Lord, God does not want us to stare blankly ahead of time and feel powerless and helpless today. Instead, Lord calls us to live in His kingdom today. This kingdom is not about eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. When one is living in the will of God now (righteousness), kingdom is in his midst and he will see the leading of God in ways he can never imagine. In all our relationships, career, finance and family living, do we enjoy this kingdom today in the most normal and routine daily lives? If we cannot, we need to go into deep prayers to confirm the values of this unseen treasure. We will never feel secured if we are not God-reliant and put all our conditions for the kingdom purpose.
