In the key steps of healing, there’s an evil that man has to deal with, ie his own tongue. In fact, the things that a man encounters, the people he meets and the relationships he builds are related to the speech from his mouth. Some say that water flows from the pipe, electricity flows from the electrical wire, blessings and curses come from our mouths too. Indeed, the greatest blessing of man is to be able to encounter blessed words. When we’re dead in sins and transgressions, God enables us to born again through His gracious Word, and through it, we receive eternal blessings, heavenly vision, and the secret to victory in all things. Today, we are still blessed by the Word, awakened and encouraged by it. On a side note, today, there remain some words in our hearts that cause us to lose direction and strength. Although we’re already blessed, occasionally, we could still be deceived by words of the past that didn’t not come from God’s words, and these words may give us hints, cause us to become foolish, guilty, inferior in a split second; it could also make us the hurt, accusations, and sadness of another person. From here, we know that speech brings great influence. Indeed, there’re people who seem to be unable to meet good things and people, it could be because he is at fault in his speech. Some are afraid to speak the wrong thing, or do not have the guts to express himself and thus choose to be quiet - such spirit cannot bless people because it shuts off the channels to bless others. Today, many are aware of the importance of speech and thus they practice their speech. But if the spoken words are not in accordance to the spiritual law (according to the truth and Holy Spirit), it will bring more lies to him and others. Firstly, we need to know that “speech” itself carries authority and power! God created the universe and all things with “spoken word”! God said let there be light, and there was light.. God said.. And it was so (14 times in <Gen 1>). The Word from God is still being carried to completion today. Then, God gave the angels and men ‘the power to speak’. Therefore, what man says carries power, it can cause human to live or die (encounter blessings or curse). The authority of the fallen angel Satan is in his lies. He is the father of lies, not holding to the truth, he speaks his native language. He lies and causes people to sin (not holding to the truth) and die. Actually, the word of man comes from 2 springs. One is from God and enables man to live; another comes from Satan, and it leads to death. The word from God can save, build people and bless people; the word from Satan kills, destroys and kills people. When we observe a person’s speech, we will be able to see his spiritual state and know what awaits him. Therefore, we must seek to have blessed speech.
