在这次家庭信息的总结，我们要得着三大概念：一，神将救赎的应许赐给圣民与他的家庭。《徒16:31》当信主耶稣，你和你一家必要得救。如果我们对带领自己家庭的概念是只有要生存（例如：夫妇恩爱，儿女乖巧、上进，经济稳定），我们很快就会被世界吞吃与牵着走。其实，当一个家庭一直感觉赶不上世界，他是已经渐渐失去救赎的应许了，这也证明这家庭的关注不在拯救彼此与家族。纵然一个家庭的建立有种种的挑战，但是我们是蒙救赎的子民，因此我们不能留在“怕赶不上”或是“解决问题”的家庭观念。相反的，我们要从救赎的应许确信自己本是得胜世界的子民，不是赶得上世界的子民。二，我们要明白为什么世界看起来总是在多方面走在圣徒前头。咋看之下，这世界特别名望与有权有势的人似乎都是不认识神的。当我们看该隐与他的后代时，他们似乎是捷足先登。该隐建了城市，将人放在里头统治人，他的后代也先发明了建筑、音乐、军士的文化《创4:20-22》。看起来，不认识神的民族样样强势。这是为何呢？如果直接来看是因为他们是以“得”开始的（该隐名字的意思就是如此），所以他们是将自己一切的聪明与意志集中在得取世界的一切利益。但更真切的理由是因为神暂且许可他们，为的是要证明神与祂的子民（亚伯的后裔）同在。神民也因此非依靠神不可。所以，神民一定要走救赎的路，然后从救赎的路才能走向得胜的路。那么，何谓救赎的路呢？那不是只将观念放在借着耶稣的救赎得蒙死后上天堂，乃是信从（神的应许与吩咐）的道路。所以，我们什么时候发现自己不信，我们什么时候会失去被救赎的思想与眼光，自然会进入为家庭、儿女、生活、经济、前景等愁烦。其实，很多信徒的家庭生活是常常无形中落入这样的光景。从父母到儿女的想法是：只要我们有这样的条件，这样多的钱财，我们就能买这样的东西，去这样的地方玩；或者父母总认为：只要我的孩子有这样尽责的老师，有这样好的教育，有这样优越的品行，他就能一生蒙福，也被主使用。若我们好好深思，这样的思想眼光根本没有神的应许与听从神的观念，那是将定位点放在非救赎的条件上。没错，这些（夫妇的恩爱，孩子的学习与品德，家庭的经济等）都重要，但那不是定位点。事实上，救赎所带来信仰的定位点是“只要我听从主”，主会负责，主会指教，主会使从无变为有。约瑟，但以理，撒母耳，大卫都是预先处在不理想的环境，但他们的定位点正确了，之后受圣灵无限的指教与帮助，成为那时代最优秀的人。确实，神民唯有受了圣灵的指教，才能超越该隐的后裔。所以，这将我们带到第三个大概念，就是一个被救赎的家庭有一个重大的使命，就是要拯救一个时代。神拣选挪亚的家庭是叫他建造方舟，然后向那时代传救赎的信息。神拣选亚伯拉罕的家庭（不是单单让他生孩子），乃是要借着他所生的来向万民启示救赎，这当中有这么多神成圣他的过程与挑战，但救赎的意义始终是神设立他家庭的宗旨。试问，圣经里有哪一个蒙恩的家庭是先追求有良好与理想的条件，然后得着之后才“顺便”为主作见证。那只不过是现今教会因为不能走十字架的路所以自己设立出给信徒方便的道理而已。确实，如果当我们觉得我们社会的节奏越来越快，一直赶不上，一直退步，那不是现实社会带给你的问题，乃是因为我们的家庭只以生存为目的，不是传福音为目的。如果我们夫妇或者与儿女的话题中间没有救赎神子民的意义在其中，我们自动会被世界吞吃的（夫妇之间没有新恩，孩子越长大越迷茫，钱财只会给家庭加上更多忧患）。救赎，是我们圣民的根基，也是神设立一个家庭的终极目的了。

In the concluding message of family series, we need to grasp 3 great concepts: First, God gives the families of saints the promise of redemption. <Ac 16:31> Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household. If the concepts in which we lead our own families are merely for survival (eg: love between couple, the obedience and progression of children, stability of finance), we will soon be consumed and led away by the world. Actually, when a family always feels that it cannot catch up with the world, it will slowly lose the promise of redemption. This also proves that the focus of the family is not on redeeming each other and the family. Despite the various challenges faced in building a family, we are people who have received the redemption, hence we cannot remain in the family notion of “fearful of not being able catch up” or “solve problems”. Instead, from the promise of redemption, we ought to firmly believe that we are already people who have overcome the world and not people who need to catch up with the world. Secondly, we need to know the reasons why the world seems to be ahead of saints in many aspects. At first glance, the more renown and powerful people in this world do not seem to know God. When we see Cain and his descendants, they seemed to be ahead of the rests. Cain built the city and put people to control the city. His descendants discovered buildings, music, and military culture <Gen 4:20-22>. It seems that the tribes who do not know God are stronger. Why? In a more direct manner, it is because they began at a starting point of “gaining” (the meaning of Cain’s name); hence they used all their wisdom and will to collect all advantages from the world. But the truer reason is because God allow them to be so temporarily to prove that He is with His people (Abel’s descendants). As such, God’s people were compelled to depend on God. Therefore, they must walk the road of redemption which will then lead them to the path of victory. What then is the path of redemption? That is not the knowledge of having been redeemed through Christ, one can go to heaven after death; instead, it is the path of faith (God’s promise and instruction). Therefore, whenever we lose the faith is the moment we lose the thoughts and perspectives of redemption, and thus will naturally be troubled by family, children, living, finance, and future. Actually, the families of many believers often fall into such state unconsciously. The thinking of parents and children are: as long as we have such conditions, such amount of money, we can buy this and that, and have fun at this place etc; or some parents often assume: as long as my children has such responsible teachers, such good education, such excellent character, he will then be blessed his whole life, and be used by Lord. If we meditate deeper, such thinking and perspective do not have the notions of God’s promise and obeying God at all, putting the anchor point at conditions that are non-redemptional. Certainly, these (the love between spouses, the academy and character of children, the finance of the family) are important, but they are not the anchor point. In fact, the faith that is brought by redemption put the anchor point on “only to listen to the Lord”, Lord will instruct, Lord will turn something out of nothing. Joseph, Daniel, Samuel, and David were also preconditioned in less ideal environment. But their anchor point was correct; they received infinite instruction and help of Holy Spirit thereafter, and became the best people in their respective eras. Indeed, only when God’s people receive the guidance from the Holy Spirit can they surpass the descendants of Cain. Hence, this leads us to the third big concept that is a redeemed family has a great mission: to save an era. God chose Noah’s family and asked him to build the ark and preached the message of redemption to that era. God chose Abraham’s family (not merely to give him a child), and through the child born from him, God revealed His redemption to all people. In the process, there were a lot of processes and challenges of sanctification by the Lord, but redemption remains the purpose why God built the family. Try asking, is there any blessed family in the bible who pursued good and ideal conditions first, received them, and “thus” used them to testify Lord? This is purely a theory that is constructed by today’s churches for the convenience of believers, as they cannot walk the path of cross. Indeed, when we feel the tempo of the society is getting faster and we cannot seem to catch up but go backwards, this is not a problem brought by the realistic society but that of the purpose of our family – we have been leading our families to merely survive rather than to evangelize. If the conversations between partners and with children do not have the essence of redemption of all nations in it, we will naturally be consumed by the world (no new grace between family, the children grow up to be more lost, the money will create more worries). Redemption is the foundation of saints and the ultimate purpose of God building a family.
