《诗19:7》告诉我们说耶和华的律法全备... 耶和华的法度确定... 《提后3:16》又告诉我们说圣经都是用于教训、督责、使人归正、教导人学义的。确实，神的真理是将这么清楚的原则给予我们。不管是我们判断行事、处事待人，或是管理钱财、人际、时间等，神的真理都清清楚楚的将那不变的原则告诉我们。但是往往在实况中，我们总是会面对实践的困难。比如说：真理的原则告诉我们工作的目的就是为了得人，方法就是带着诚挚的心服侍众人。这背后有一个荣神益人的大原则。但是，在工作当中有这么多错综复杂的事 - 有时我们要应付老板的脾气，同事的不合作，还有忙碌的工作要求，我们很容易遗忘真理的原则来应付工作的挑战。另外，我们工作忙的时候怎么以聚会为中心呢？这是实践的那部分。另外在家庭中我们也可以举一个例子。这就如真理告诉我们做父母的以国度为中心养育儿女，将爱神爱人的原则给他，然后与他们常常谈论神的话，且不惹他们的气。这原则是很清楚的。这样做的人一来都看见圣灵这样帮助他。但是我们每天怎么面对孩子的任性和懒惰的性情？我们怎么看待孩子的学业？需要督促吗？有些孩子们已经多年形成了坏习惯，他们也听不进有关神的道理。那时，我们就会很容易觉得真理的原则不实在，且是一种的压力。在面对这些难处中，有些信徒因此找妥协的方法（将信仰与生活分开来跟从），或者有的就活在控告与自责里，总觉得自己没有活出真实的基督信仰精神。确实，很多时候我们面对的这种矛盾可能是我们的信心软弱或不坚定所带来的问题，但也有可能是我们的情况特别有挑战，需要细密的寻找圣灵的带领。但是，我们终极的目标是要行在真理中。因为《约3:21》说：“但行真理的必来就光，要显明他所行的是靠神而行”。确实，我们「行在真理」与「靠神而行」是相辅相成。当人看见我们行在真理时，就会更清楚认识我们所依靠的上帝。这位神不单是给我们道理的神，祂乃是在我们生活当中运行的神。唯有我们行在真理中，才能显出神的大能。我们不能一直找借口说：“我没有信心！神也没有给我信心这么活！”或说：“我的情况特别难，比别人的还糟糕！婚姻比别人糟糕，孩子比别人难教导，工作比别人的难应付！”这样一来，我们心中的信仰就变成了一个“行不通”的信仰了，世人又怎么能看见那运行在我们心中，且在万事里行神迹的神？世人又怎么能从我们身上看见那与约瑟、大卫、但以理、保罗等同在的神，也是今天活着的神？倘若我们采用的方法都是妥协性，或是按着我们的方便的，我们又怎么能向世人说我们的神是又真又活的神呢？确实，很多信徒就是无法将真理原则融入实践信仰，便因此创造新的道理。他们跟从祈福性的道理、追求神秘的经历、追寻各种的恩赐、依靠世界的心理学、或以人为的热心来证明自己的属灵。其实无论如何，我们仍旧要回归真理。我们不能以这些方法或经历来取代我们对神的敬虔和真理的忠诚。但是神那无误无缺的话语又怎么成就在我们这时常有误与有缺的人身上呢？上帝三层天宝座上的恩惠又怎么成就在我们这活在一层天与二层天空间的人身上呢？这就是神将圣灵赐下给我们这信从真理的人的理由了。圣灵要在凡事上引导我们，且叫我们想起主对我们所说的话。

<Ps 19:7> tells us that the law of the Lord is perfect…The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy... <2 Ti 3:16> also tells us that all Scripture is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. Indeed, God’s truth gives us such clear principles. Whether it is about how we judge things, act, handle people and matters, manage finances, interpersonal relationships, time, etc, God’s truth clearly tells us the unchanging principles. But often in reality, we always face the difficulty of practicing. For example: Truth principle tells us that the purpose of work is to win people, and the method is to serve everyone with a sincere heart. Behind this, there is the great principle of glorifying God and edifying people. However, at work, there are so many complicated issues – sometimes we have to handle the boss’ temper, the disunity among colleagues, and the busy work demands, such that we easily forget the truth principle as we deal with work challenges. Furthermore, how can we center on church meetings when our work is so busy? This is the part about practice. Moreover, we also can cite an example in the family. The truth tells us that we as parents should raise our children centering on the Kingdom, and teach them the principle of loving God and men, then always talk to them about God’s word, and do not exasperate them. This principle is very clear. Those who do this always see the Holy Spirit helping them. But how can we face the wilfulness and laziness of our children everyday? How do we view the studies of our children? Do they require supervision? Some children already formed bad habits over the years, they also cannot take in any teachings about God. Then, we will easily find the truth principles unrealistic and pressurizing. In facing these difficulties, some believers find ways to compromise (they separate faith and living), or some believers live in accusations and self-reproach, always feeling that they have not lived out the true spirit of the Christian faith. Indeed, many a times, we face such ironies perhaps because our faith is weak or unstable, but it is also possible that there are special challenges in our circumstances, such that we need to meticulously seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance. However, our ultimate goal is to live by the truth. Because <Jn 3:21> says, “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.” Indeed, “living by the truth” and “living by relying on God” are complementary. When people see that we live by the truth, they will clearly know the God whom we rely on. This is not just the God who gives us the truth, but He is also the God who works in our living. Only when we live by the truth, can God’s great power then be manifested. We cannot keep finding excuses: “I have no faith! God never gives me faith to live like this!”, or “my situation is particularly difficult, it is worse than other people’s! My marriage is worse that others’, my children are harder to teach than others’, my work is harder to manage than others’!” In this case, our faith becomes a faith that “cannot work”, then how can people of the world see the God who works in our hearts and performs miracles in all things? From our lives, how can people of the world see that the God who was with Joseph, David, Daniel, Paul, etc is also the God who is living today? If the methods we adopt are all compromising, or based on our convenience, how can we tell people of the world that our God is the true and living God? Indeed, many believers cannot put truth principles into practice, and thus create new principles. They go after prosperity teachings, pursue mystical experiences, seek all kinds of gifts, rely on secular psychology, or try to prove their own spirituality by their human zeal. Actually no matter what, we still have to go back to the truth. We cannot use these methods and experiences to replace our devotion to God and faithfulness to the truth. But how can the inerrant and sufficient word of God be fulfilled in the lives of us who are full of errors and shortcomings? How can the grace of God from the throne in the third heaven be fulfilled in us who live in the first and second heavens? This is the reason why God sent the Holy Spirit to us who believe and obey the truth. The Holy Spirit will guide us in all things, and remind us of what the Lord had told us.
