资讯、情报能够掳掠人的思想，也能够影响人的决定。当我们听见一个情报时，没有另一个情报来挑战所听的，我们就会渐渐接受那情报为事实，也受它带动。这如同我们听见了一个健康报告说吃什么不健康，之后我们吃那样东西时马上会感觉不舒服。现在这世界有关政治、经济、医学、营养学、辅导学、娱乐等的说法这么多。各种民间事物和见解的新闻这么泛滥，试问何谓是真是假？我们可能这一刻读了圣经，听了信息，随后马上就因听到的一些新闻见解而受影响。例如：最近榴莲很便宜，很多人都购买来品尝。不久后网站就有人传播吃榴莲的坏处，但随后又有人说榴莲籽粒对心脏和骨头好，也能抗抑郁症。所以，我们人没有足够的情报来分辨是真是假的消息。往往，我们只有知道，受影响，然后按自己的喜悦或倾向作出一些的决定，但我们的心里并非有定见。另外，有些新闻其实也只不过是一种稍微的提醒或是平常的事件，但是因为有一些人将他快速与大量的传播，原本是一个琐碎的事件就成为了万众瞩目的事件。其实，有些事件相对来说并非是这么重要，但就因为多人知道了，也将关注放在那里，情感也被惹动起来，那就成为了一件大事。所以由此可见，现在很多事情的轻重就在于民声，并非在于客观的事实。那试问谁能够挑起民声呢？显然就是那传播消息的。所以，现在传播消息的方式和手段越来越微妙，且各有千秋。以往借着报纸来大众传播，后来借着社交媒体（FB, Instagram, Line），后来据说也能透过数据采掘来将某一些情报带给某一些特定的群人，来达成更大的果效。(例如：从你上网所看的资讯情报中，分析你的个性、兴趣、倾向，然后让你会听到哪方面的信息，好影响你作出某些决定)。所以，有些人说世界上最有力量的人不是这世界的总统或将军，乃是能控制情报传播的人。若他有这能力将情报资讯（不管是真是假或半真半假）随意的传播，他能控制这地球绝大部分的人。其实，这说法在某方面来说是真实的。所以，敌基督一定会使用互联网的功能来迷惑世界。在虚假与速传网络新闻的到来，为何信徒要谨慎，且要注意这方面的事呢？① 因为这些资讯与新闻渐渐会“取代圣经”。许多信徒在处事决定依靠的是这些情报，不是真理的原则和圣灵的引导。有时，信徒也因为过度的关注小事（当下的民间新闻和见解）而忽略的大事（永国与传福音之事）；② 因为这些情报与资讯没有绝对的真实性，我们过度依靠这些情报来思想的结果就会渐渐成为一个没有定见的人；③ 当速传新闻继续泛滥，我们若没有节制的领受，那会拿走我们的专注与深思能力。人应当深入思考的事情（例如：神的话、与人之间的关系）都变得只有表面思考，唯有要得着快感为主。因此，人的爱心也渐渐冷淡了；④ 但虽是如此，我们也不能成为一个与世隔绝的人。纵然假新闻遍满这世代，但那真实性，且必要知道的新闻也存在。所以，圣经告诉我们要懂得分辨是非真假，好作诚实无过的人，直到基督的日子《腓1:10》。

Information can capture a person’s thinking and affect one’s decisions. When we humans hear a piece of information, if there is no alternative information to challenge what we heard, we will gradually accept that information as truth and be driven by it. This is just like we hear a health report stating that eating certain thing is unhealthy, later on when we eat that particular thing, we will immediately feel uncomfortable. Currently in this world, there are so many talks about politics, economy, medical science, nutrition studies, counseling, entertainment, etc. There is an overflowing of news concerning all kinds of popular things and opinions, so what is true and what is fake? Perhaps this moment we read the Bible and heard a sermon, the next moment we are instantly affected after hearing some news and views. Example: Recently, durians are very cheap, many people bought to eat. Not long later, someone spreads online about the harms of eating durians, then after that, some others say that durian seeds are good for the heart and bones, and it is anti-depression. Thus, we humans do not have sufficient information to discern whether the news is real or fake. Often, we only know and get affected, then we make some decisions based on our own preferences or inclinations, but our hearts have no fixed perspective. Also, some news actually are merely a form of slight reminder or some very common thing, but because some people spread it quickly to the masses, that originally trivial matter becomes the center of attention of many people. Actually, some things are relatively not as important, but because many people get to know it and put their focus on it, such that emotions are stirred up, then it becomes a big affair. Thus, it is evident that nowadays, the weight of many matters lies in the voices of the people, instead of in objective truth. Then who can stir up the voices of people? Apparently it is the one who spreads news. Thus, the methods and ways to spread news nowadays are getting more delicate, and each has its own merits. In the past, news were spread widely through newspaper, then it was done through social media (FB, Instagram, Line), later on, it was said that through data mining, certain information can be sent to certain target groups, in order to achieve greater effect. (Example: From the information you browse online, your personality, interests, inclinations can be analyzed, then you will be fed certain information, so as to influence you to make certain decisions). Hence, some people say that the most powerful person on earth is not the President or General of this world, but the one who controls information propagation. If he has this power to spread information (whether real or fake or half true half fake) as he wishes, he can control majority of the people on earth. Actually, this saying is true to certain extent. Therefore, the anti-Christ will surely use the power of the Internet to deceive the world. With the coming of fake and viral news, why should believers be careful, and pay attention to these matters? (1) Because all these information and news will gradually “replace the Bible”. Many believers rely on these information when handling things and making decisions, instead of relying on truth principles and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Sometimes, because believers over-focus on trivial matters (current popular news and views), they neglect the major things (matters concerning eternal Kingdom and evangelism); (2) because these information and news are not absolutely true, as a result of us over-relying on these information to think, we will gradually become someone without fixed perspective; (3) when viral news continue to overflow, if we do not receive them with self-control, that will take away our focus and power to reflect deeply. Then what a person should think deeper (example: God’s word, interpersonal relationships) all become very superficial reflection, and he mainly wants to seek pleasures. Thus, human love will gradually grow cold; (4) despite this, we also cannot become people isolated from the world. Although fake news fill this era, real and necessary-to-know news still exist. Therefore, Bible tells us to discern what is best, real and fake, and be pure and blameless for the day of Christ <Phil 1:10>.
