The word of God is the truth, it is the absolute power that created all things and operates all things. When a person truly believes this truth and lives in this truth, this itself is the greatest success! However, many people’s lives are not operating in the truth. Because they are too busy, they have no time to confirm whether they are living correctly or not. As their souls (spirits) are not upright, they are bound in a state of chaos and confusion. Their slumbering souls prevent them from hearing (understanding) God’s voice. Even if they always hear the Bible’s word, their spirits are unable to receive the transformation that comes from believing. Carnal concerns, interests and worries often bind their spirits. Therefore, most part of their lives are spent in accusations and deceptions of the evil spirit.
The truth is, we will all eventually face death, and we are now living for death! “Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment” <He 9:27>. About 250,000 lives leave the world each day. However, most of us forget this truth and are thus unprepared for death. The truth is, there is heavenly kingdom and hell, heavenly kingdom also has different levels, crowns and serving. However, most people are not concerned about whether they belong to heavenly kingdom or hell. Even if they occasionally thought about it, they saw the way they are and have no faith to stand before the God who judges the living and the dead, thus they try not to think about that truth. The truth is, God is living, and is currently in control, guiding and fulfilling all things. In all things, there is God’s perfect will! However, most people do not treat God as alive, even many Christians also do not test and approve God’s perfect will, do not rely on God, and do not live in submission to God. Although a small number of believers appear to be willing to live for the eternal kingdom, because they cannot see God’s grace and loving kindness which are always with them, they serve the Lord in suffering and toil, and thus often met failures.
<Ps 46：10>: “Be still (be quiet), and know that I am God (the One who fulfils all things in truth).”
<Ps 51：10>: “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
When we come before the Almighty One, we must be still and acknowledge the truth He tells us. In addition, we should bring a pure and upright heart to trust and obey His every word. Only by coming before God in this manner, can our lives be built up on solid foundation. If we lead our lives in this way, though outwardly we are wasting away (face all kinds of challenges), yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
